How Job Got Jacked Part 4 - M. H. Dennis

Philippians 4:6 (NET) Paul: Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God. Fear was taking over his mind; however, he remained pure and upright before God because Job didnt have Gods word, and didnt know better.

JOB: Job 1:21 (NKJV) And he said: "Naked I came from my mothers womb, And naked shall I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; Blessed be the name of the LORD."

Unknowingly Job attributed to God what Satan had done. If I'm the Sherriff and the bank is robbed, I'm not honored but offended if everyone blames me if the banker didn't lock his doors. Although I'm the Sherriff, I still didn't want it robbed, and I didn't do it!

Job 2:7 (NET)

Satan harmed Job, not God!

John 10:10 (NET) Jesus:The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.

James 1:13,14, 16 (NET)

God is the giver of every good and perfect gift and to believe otherwise is to be lead into error.

Romans 8:28 (NET) Paul: And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.

In his goodness, God can and will work things out for our favor if we truly love him. Still God is not the author of the evil things that happen to us.

Isaiah 5:20 (NKJV) Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! To infer that God partners with the devil to accomplish his good is evil.
