We jumped in a van shortly after Katrina hit. We are a Chicagoland area church, and we went to help at a sister church in the gulf coast of Mississippi. The church was located 2 miles from the coast and was a distribution center for relief supplies. Many churches from other states came to help as well. Serving that way and praying for people was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Amazingly, the church is called "The Refuge...A safe haven from the Storms of Life". I discovered the song, also amazingly called "My Refuge" by Jessie Goodman. It was playing in the church sanctuary and I had to use it for this video. I hope you enjoy it.
