Pray to End Abortion – Pray for The Parents
www.PriestsForLife.org Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, continues in our reflections on praying to end abortion. We pray for the mothers and fathers whose children have been lost to abortion. They need our prayers for the grace to seek healing and repentance and the grace that will lead them to healing ministries like Rachel's Vineyard and the Silent No More Awareness Campaign.
About half of the abortions in the United States are repeat abortions. Abortions on people who have at least one before, sometimes have had several before. The sooner someone comes to healing for the abortion they had before, the less likely it is that they are going to have another abortion.
As Pope John Paul II said in Evangelium Vitae, those who have had abortions and find healing become among the most eloquent defenders of everyone's right to life.
