Why is a Cry of Agony

Why is a Cry of Agony

When someone cries out why, usually it is a cry out of agony. When Jesus was on the Cross, he cried out in Aramaic, a common language that would have been understood by any common person who was watching the crucifixion. He also was quoting Psalm 22, a psalm that anyone that knew anything about the Old Testament would have known. He did this to show that his suffering and his questioning in the moment of agony was predicted almost a thousand years before.
