Sermon: "Peace in the Church," Isaiah 33:17-24
We all want our churches to be places of peace and security, but sometimes conflicts arise for all sorts of reasons. What are we to make of this? Is the church still a place of peace, or should we simply look ahead for another age when real peace will arrive? Pastor MacLaren returns to the prophet Isaiah to see what he says to the people of God in a day of conflict and disaster. This sermon was preached at First Presbyterian Church in Perkasie, PA (www.firstchurchopc.org), on March 14, 2010. Rev. Richard Scott MacLaren is the pastor.
