Disciples On the Journey 2010 Homily

This diocesan-wide gathering is for teens in grades 9-12. The event involves an overnight camp-out and features a variety of learning stations and activities on the life and mission of the Church.
Reflecting on the Scripture reading where Zacchaeus had to rise above the crowd to see Jesus, Bishop Burbidge asked, “In being called to be a disciple, how often do you have to rise above the crowd in order to make a decision about the right thing to do?”
