Doug's Mom's Ashes
My friend, Doug, has Down Syndrome. He is 55 years old and lives independently (with some help). His success goes back to his beginnings when his mother simply decided to love him and ignored advice to place him in an "institution." When she died he lost the most important person he ever knew. I have been his friend since he was 11 years old. In this video we show how Doug memorialized his mother by having her ashes blessed by a priest and then cast into the waters of the Gulf Of Mexico.
