Sui Generis by Paul Routledge (myself)
This is from my Senior Recital from Minot State University in Minot, ND in November 2001. Arnola Leverson is my piano accompanist. At the time, it was very rare for a music major to write a piece of music specifically for their Senior Recital. I spent that summer writing the piece of music in Minot instead of going home to The Pas, Manitoba where I'm from. The style is a bit different and not something I would play at a church. You will hear influences of Hovhannes, Beethoven in it. Its purposely modal in nature in different styles within the piece.

A Prayer to Help You Comfort Others - Your Daily Prayer - April 25
Have you ever wondered if there is any purpose in your suffering? We certainly don’t go looking for suffering—it comes to us because life is a journey through difficulties and triumphs. Sufferings are a reminder of what Jesus Christ went through and it is a way for us to encourage others.
