Hindrances to Prayer, Part 28 (The Prayer Motivator Devotional #439)

SCRIPTURE: Psalm 65:2, “O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.”

PERSONAL ENCOURAGEMENT: We ought to pray because every now and then, we have to get down on our knees and confess our sins, faults, and failures to God. Now I know that some of you listening to me do not do bad things, but I have done some bad things in my life and every now and then, I have to get down on my knees and confess my sins before God in prayer.

QUOTE: Jonathan Edwards, "When God is about to bestow some great blessing on His church, it is often His manner, in the first place, so to order things in His providence as to show His church their great need of it, and to bring them into distress for want of it, and so put them upon crying earnestly to Him for it."
