Northeastern U.S. suffers from freezing temperatures as chances for another major storm increase. According to NBC News, power was restored to lower Manhattan and some other areas on Saturday, but electricity was still unavailable for 2.5 million homes and businesses as temperatures dropped into the 20s. Temperatures on Sunday and Monday were expected to be even colder just as critical heating oil supplies dwindle. Meanwhile, according to the National Weather Service, chances for a slow-moving nor'easter are "increasing." If the storm tracks close enough to the coast, it will be sufficiently cold for snow to fall. Expected to be felt in the Northeast by the middle of next week, the storm could cause new erosion and hinder recovery efforts.

In his article, he listed "several factors" as to why Istanbul in Turkey should be chosen as this capital. Falk stated that Turkey could provide the "satisfactions of a post-Western world civilization."
