I am blessed with three amazing children, who challenge me to walk as deeply with the Lord as I possibly can. We don't get down-time too often, as I have work and school taking up alot of life, but we love to play sports, hit the river (it's closer) or the lake (for a drive!); anything outside or together is what we love.
I work @ Cybertooth Tech, LLC a business-optimizing computer technology company whose foundation is based on green-thinking. I work as a Client Relationship Manager, which I am learning alot about in the process. 12 years ago, it would have been the perfect position for me, but in the past decade, so much of me had been lost that the Lord gave me the position to draw me back out of myself, and to Him so I can reach others in His love.
I work as a substitute teacher aide at a school for the severely disabled. I am amazed at the love I have for the kids there-- I am excited every day I 'get' to work there... the staff is great and the kids are encouraged to reach for greatness... it's a blessing every day that I spend there.
I host spa escapes as well. It is so fun to meet others and encourage ladies to take time out for themselves; with our line we help women to take moments out of their busy lives and treat themselves to a moment of relaxation... something most of us don't make time for. There is so much you can do for yourself -and others- in a small amount of time; it just requires making a habit of it!
I am a member of Victory Church in St. Clair. After being on a church search, I found home with the members there, fell in love with the worship, and have been mentored by a wonderful shephard who lives in love 'in this world, but not of it'... understanding the lost and the saved so clearly... encouraging us to honor the Lord in everything we do... focusing our minds on dicipleship and leadership... we may be in a small building but our church is massive. It has become our joy to be a light in the world, in any life placed before us at any given time.
I am a leader with Celebrate Recovery bringing hope to those who are hopeless, and those who desire to draw closer to the Lord. If there are any hinderances within us, Celebrate Recovery gives us tools to help uncover those things that He wants us to remove from our lives. We then can offer up our lives as our testimony to His greatness, and others are encouraged by our freedom and hope we display in our lives.
