That changed my perspective.
What an awesome weekend it was. Two BBQ's and the weather was awesome. God I loved these last two days. I was walking through fields of grain and reaping peace; and still God was talking to me about victory. I understand that victroy results in peace and that peace is all that we are really looking for, but how often are we really fighting for it? How often do we as Christians just ask God for peace (victory) but don't go and fight for it? Having peace does not mean that we are passive. We cannot be passive and have victory by just asking God for it, we have to do our part and fight. God I have can not recall what Pastor was saying in his sermon but I CLEARLY heard you when you said I will be your shield but you have to do your part and hold it up! Again I thank you for the lessons learned and pray that I can use them in my battles this week!
I would also like to take a moment to thank all the veterans here on earth and especially those in heaven for your sacrifices, I understand your sacrifices made it possible to have all the blessing that I currently have as an American. Thank you all.

The Spirit of God does not want us merely to tolerate oppression; He desires us to conquer it. Either we pursue our enemies or they will pursue us. We must develope Christ's attitude towards evil. He came "to destroy the works of the devil" 1 John 3:8 The Bible says "O you who love the Lord, hate evil." Ps 97:10
