My heart breaks for those that suffer with these things. I once heard a preacher say that if you want to know who you are here for on this earth, then find out who your heart breaks for. Maybe that's my calling. To help hurting people. Or maybe it's because I've been there, done that, bought the T-shirt, and have the hat. I know what it feels like. I love the song I'm Not Alright by Sanctus Real. It started out as I'm Alright, but one of the band members spoke up and said they weren't alright. (they had all recently gone through a hard time) The others agreed, and, well dot, dot, dot.
It's one of those songs that I can get a lot out of. To me, it shows how we're all scared in some way or another. We all have something that makes us "not alright". Even though some of us have to be brought to our weakest and have to have someone brake down the firewall to reveal that we're not that strong. God knows what makes us not alright. Lots of times, all we go through leads us to God and shows us how wow He is and how much He loves us.

    I'm definitely one of those people who read that verse that says let he who is without sin cast the first stone and want to hide. I'm far from perfect, but somehow God puts up with me. : ) When I get older, I want to be a psychologist. I want to help people who struggle with addiction, depression, eating disorders, cutting, etc. My heart goes out to them. I want God's will in whatever I do, though.
