The River of life Ministries is a Church Based Community Development Organization is an indigenous not-for profit organization with the prime focus of providing formal education, health care, HIV/AIDS education, vocational training, and preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ to desperately poor, neglected and forgotten AIDS orphans and widows.
The organization was founded in 2007 and in 2008,it received recognition and registration by the government of the republic of Uganda as a non-governmental organization.
lies 80kms East of Kampala city, Uganda's capital.
Uganda as a developing country is among other problems, afflicted by Civil wars, hunger, economic stagnation, extreme poverty, low literacy levels, and the AIDS pandemic that continues its deadly foray into every village. This calls for innovative actions that are designed and implemented to bring about change.
TROLM is actively pursing this at the grass roots.

Hi Micheal, Thanks so much for accepting my friends request. I must say I am so amazed by the great calling on your life to bring restoration to the downtrodden. I admire you for that work and one day I'd love to do something similar. I help some other ministries like that but it must be amazing to do the work firsthand. |

I am so much surprised and feel happy to find each on God Tube! sincerely i am filled with joy. can you imagine you posted this 26 days ago and i have just realized today 22 09 08.see i do not always use God tube but i like this site as there many people who are God fearing and they keep on praying and encouraging us.Thanks of for being so good and loving us Buz and all the support you give us we are much privileged knowing you and surely i pray for guidance and protection upon you and family.Buz!

How Can You Help? There are many ways you can choose to help. With proper funding we can help alleviate the suffering. "for whatsoever a man soweth, that he shall also reap." Galatians 6:7 You can support the work in this ministry in several ways: 1. Make a cash donation for general support. 2. Sponsor a child with a $25.00 monthly gift 3. Host a fundraiser for TROLM 4. Have a garage sale, donate funds to TROLM. 5. Start a donor circle. Any items for children are greatly appreciated. 6. Gifts of clothing, shoes, school supplies, mosquito nets, cloth for the widows, and equipment, i.e. new or used computers, sewing machines. 7. Offer your services as a volunteer. We greatly appreciate and welcome any and all volunteers. Long-term or short-term. |

You know its kinda interesting. I was looking for a friend of mine in American who might be on..and it showed me world wide all the people who are on God tube right now. And it happens to you someone living in Uganda and in Kampala no less. My dear dear friend Karalyn Jones just left Operation Crossroads Africa to come to Kampala. And sitting in my bed across from me is her twin Saralyn who is an Activist for Invisible Children. She is the head of the IC in Nyack, New York at her college. I thought..I would just send you a message on how the God is moving in many many ways and He has put Uganda on many hearts. And I know two of those hearts :) Karalyn Jones feels that while there in Uganda God will open doors and she will stay there to teach for the Will of God. so..If you see her Love her. Please stand with us as we attempt to show a generation of orphans and widows that there is God who cares about them and loves them. $25.00 per month, the amount most Americans spend on a single dinner, will send one of these orphaned children to school and provide them with food, clothing and other essential needs for a month. A gift or financial contribution of yours can make a huge difference. You can make a huge impact in relieving and helping child victims of HIV/AIDS, street kids and widows to have access to better health care, nutritious food, formal and vocational education. Please help lift them out of poverty and thus to giving them more opportunities in the world, which they otherwise wouldn't have. We are in desperate need for volunteers, medical teams, social workers, mission boards, and anyone else who might be interested to visit the TROLM project area here in Uganda. Many opportunities exist for short term or long-term volunteers. |
