Because my early years were filled with such chaos and turmoil, when I finally met the Lord at age 19, I welcomed the peace that He had to offer.

But, as time went on and I found myself in the midst of working and managing a household, I realized that the peace that I once enjoyed was beginning to fade.

I sought God, wondering what had happened.

How had the peace begin to disappear? How had the once intimate relationship that I had shared with Him begun to grow luke warm.

It was because I had allowed my relationship with God to become an after thought. I still went to church and even read my Bible from time to time, but I didn't have the passion towards Him that I once had, and something inside of myself felt empty.

We all want a deeper relationship with God. But, like any relationship, our relationship with God takes work.

That is why I started www.hem-of-his-garment-bible-study.org . It is a set apart place where Christians can come and reconnect with their Heavenly Father through the Love Letter that He has written to us - The Bible.
