So my story...well, I'm a recovering Bulimic. That may seem like an over-share to most, which it kind of is, but that's my truth. I think everybody struggles with something... whether it be an addiction, habit or hang-up. Though our issues might have varying degrees of severity in societies eyes, your problem is still relative to your situation. I used to feel quite a bit of shame about my addiction, but I've come to realize that God doesn't believe in degrees of sin. Others may shy away from discussing a troubling subject such as bulimia, but I know in my heart that they are just as troubled as me and need God as desperately as I do. Those are the facts, and if someone condemns me for my struggles that is their issue, not mine. I pray constantly that the Lord will give me the serenity accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
