As a child, Selepri moved from Liberia to America with his parents. While playing secular music with a college band, he was exposed to the drug scene. Thirteen years of cocaine abuse led him to prison where he began to seek God. Today, his message and music inspire many. Selepri is the founder of My Light Ministry and the Xtreme Intervention Project. After God restored him from a 12 year cocaine addiction that sent him to prison twice, destroyed relationships and nearly destroyed his life, Selepri designed the "Samaritan Intervention Model" and has been God's tool in getting hundreds of people out of the darkness of addiction and into Christian treatment and restoration facilities!!!
Selepri's unique ministry presentation has brought over 1,400 people to the Lord in just the last 2 years and given many more a renewed confidence in their ability to share the gospel confidently. His interventions have documented proof that people are coming out of addiction, giving their lives to Christ and coming out of their dark environments and into the light of God. (Some are even getting baptized before going into treatment!!)
Selepri has ministered with American Idol finalist, Scott Savol, been interviewed on the Christian Television Network, featured in Pentecostal Evangel Magazine, his testimony has been shared in the New York Times and, with his band, he has opened for Todd Agnew. His mix of anointed, quality music and his incredible testimony into an inspiring presentation which includes a message on INTERVENTION, edifies, educates, encourages and uplifts every audience! From Pentecostal to Presbyterian, the Spirit of God penetrates hearts through his message, music and testimony. God has emptied seats and pews to fill the altars of over 30 churches across the United States through Selepri’s message in 2012!!
Catch his message someplace near you and DON’T MISS YOUR MIRACLE!!
