My Testimony

I grew up in a household with parents who attended church, my Father, a minister. I always went to church but never really got anything out of it, I felt I was forced to go.
Up in my teenage years, I started to smoke, drink and experiment with all kinds of drugs. At 17 I moved out of my parents and moved in with my boyfriend. I lived a party lifestyle, everyday. At 20, I got married but really had no clue about it or any intention of slowing down. After five years and never being faithful, I walked away and from there just went from man to man, wherever the party was. At 25, I moved back to my home state and thought to make a change, that was short lived, I was drinking and using more than ever. I married again at 27 hoping to get it right this time.
My 2nd husband and I partied but at a little slower pace, mostly the weekends. At 32 I became pergnant with my daughter and stopped everything. I had her, started a great new job and bought a house, life was good. My... Read More »

After reading some of the comments on this profile, it seems to be that you are taking it upon yourself to tell others that you feel their videos aren't good enough for godtube. That doesn't seem very Jesus-like to me. If godtube approved it, then that must mean that IT'S FINE! I'm not trying to be rude or anything. That's just what I think. |

I'm 17 years old and i like the Jonas Brothers they are christian. They are also mainstream; they are like one of the few mainstream christians that will stand up for God. they will without a doubt let you know about their faith. I agree with cutiecupcake95; they are not a waste of space. Everyone is here on this Earth for a reason and that was wrong of you to say that they were a waste of space.just cuz they dont play ur style of music dosent mean that they arent makin music that is making cristian, non-christians, and most importantlly God happy. |

Yah I too have a comment on ur comment that u left on their song kung-fu-grip.They are not a waist of space God send them here for a reason like u and me . Sure maybe their music is a bit different , but at least their not promoting drugs or anything bad.They are a positive influence to teens.They are all polite , positive , and pure.In case u didn't know their dad was a pastor and their mom sang in the church choir.So u shouldn't call them a waist of space. |

i have a comment on your comment on the jonas brother's video. All three ot them are Christians, wear purity rings, and Nick has released a single about Christ. They are NOT a waste of space. that's the kind of mainstream band we should be promoting, not some sort of filthy music like solja boy or something. i believe you should be thanking them for their positive influence on teens everywhere |

in response to your comment on "souled out" i have to say if you mute lyrics, and just listen to the melody u get any seculer music. we are different by what we live by and what we thru those messages in those hip hop songs. and it does reach others. we can't seem boring or else they won't listen to a single "truth" we have to say. you can't reach today's yout with just "truth". ive tried. i get your point but tom ost you might come off as a little old fashion. we don't want religon. we want a relationship with christ. |

Wow! Good stuff regarding your comments on the Golden Comp@#$ movie Carole. I thought the best thing you said was "I, as a parent, will do my part in this battle." That's all parents need to do, but it means energy, because if you don't have the energy to do so then that teacher that goes by the name of "Hollywood" or "Their peers" will =) Thanks, Taco |
