This is the End of the Year.

Well guys, this is the end. Some of us will return in the summer, some next fall, and some never. We will all be doing something during the summer. Some of us will go back to school, some to work, and some to missions. I am not certain what will happen this summer. I plan to go back to school. I know several of my friends are going back home and doing several different things. As usual, it took me til the very end to feel the sadness of being seperated from the people that I care about a great deal. I came back from hanging out with my friends and I went to my dorm to get ready for the end of the semester. I am so blessed to have such great friends. I don't know how much they like me, but I can say that I have never become so close to a group of people as I have this year. We are the creation of the Father. We do not deserve anything. What is given to us is solely by the grace of the Lord. I pray that we never become "spoiled" byt the gifts of God.
I have been thinking about something. Christ dwells within me (Galatians 2:20), so it got me to thinking about people that do not know Christ. I did not create my friends, God did. There is no greater love than the Love that God has for us because He is love (1 John 4:8). If I am feeling sad about leaving my friends, how much greater is the saddness of God to see His creation perish in the fire because they would not love Him and accept His free gift of salvation? The closest analogy that I can think of to explain, what I think, the severity of this is think of the one person that you love the absolute most. Now imagine if this person had some superficial object on them, a sticker for example. This sticker is killing them and they will die a long and miserable death. You know that all you have to do is remove the sticker and that person will be fine. It is simple, but the person will not allow you to do so. You watch them day after day, watching them get more sick and more sick, but they refuse to take the offer to remove the sticker. I don't know about you, but it would break my heart to watch someone I love die just because they would not let me help, especially considering the operation is so simple. I am made of flesh, and I cannot even start to compare my love with one person, with the love that God has for all. I will admit, I never thought of it this way, and I am not sure what the scriptures have to say, but I will say that so long as our hearts beat, it is never too late to accept the free gift. I am so glad to know my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I will still miss my friends. Until we meet again, I pray, for the Christians, that you go out into the world and not be static Christians, but listen to the voice of the Lord. I don't care what Christians theologians say about the idea that we cannot hear the voice of the Living God, the creator of the universe. I heard Jesus before I heard them and Jesus said that we, as sheep, know the Shepard's voice (John chapter 10). For the ones that are not Chrstians, I will still love you guys....we will still love you. I do not condemn people because my Lord has ample reason to condemn me, but He does not, He forgives me. He can forgive all, no matter your past, He just wants all to come home.
