My name is Diane Reinstadtler. I am a on-fire Christian who dearly loves the Lord and His Word. I work part-time in several businnesses; as Realtor/Investor, property manager and consultant/owner of a health and wellness business. I fascilitate a Bible Study at my church where I am a Lay Counselor. I love studying prophecy, Precept Ministry, and Beth Moore Bible Studies. Three years ago, I was on my way back from Salt Lake where I had purchased an income property. I caught a cold; in fact, it seemed more like the flu, complete with chills, fever, and a cough. It knocked me out for about three weeks and my recovery was slow. The cough hung on and so did the fatigue. I remembered once having Asian flu and my Doctor had warned me then it might be a year before I was completely recovered. I was 22 years old at the time and I'm more than 2 times that now! The cough lingered on, my energy ebbed and flowed and by the end of summer, I was convinced that it must be allergies. I finally made an appointment with my Allergist/Immunologist and then I waited. You know how long it takes to get into see a Doctor these days. I wasn't seen until late September. By that time, my legs had turned into tree trunks. I was holding water and coughing up tons of fluid. I knew something was dreadfully wrong, but was really quite unprepared for what I was told. The Doctor suspected Heart Failure and sent me for a Sonogram which confirmed the Diagnosis. I was sent to the hospital immediately, where they proceeded to drain thirty pounds of fluid via intravenous Lasix. Then a Cardiologist came in and told me that they had scheduled an Angiogram for me, and that I would probably have to have Angioplasty. At any rate, I would have no say in the matter once they had me on the table, so I had to approve the procedure whether I liked it or not. I was also informed, as if it were fact, that I would probably need a pacemaker and a Heart Transplantbut since I was only 55, I should be able to get one. If that weren't enough, in addition to my Heart, it was discovered that I had Rheumatoid Arthritis and my Thyroid had simply quit working, so I was put on Synthroid as well. Frankly, I dont know how people survive news like this without faith in Christ. He has been with me through many trials before and I trust Him with my life. I am a firm believer in Romans 8:28-30 which assures us that whatever trials we face, He is with us and protects us. I figured the worst that could happen was, I would meet Him sooner rather than later. I had with me, my cherished book; "The Red Sea Rules" by Robert J. Morgan which Illustrates God's plan in the trials of life by comparing them with how He worked with the Israelites in the desert. It kept me in peace and made me even more determined to see this trial through as God would lead. I was grateful that many prayer warriors were praying for me. God has healed me through his grace and by a series of a events that lead me to a great Naturapathic Heart Specialist. My heart is now back to normal and with good diet and supplements, I have lost over 100 pounds, and am now healing from my auto-immune diseases. God is Great!!
