God Incidents

It never ceases to amaze me how God uses us through what I call God Incidents. What I mean is every now and then something happens just to let me know that God is with me all the time. I will give you an example. Sometime ago I saw a woman in the food court of the Mall I work in and she was crying. I felt compelled to go over and see what was wrong. This woman told me she was in a bad relationship, had no money and it was her child's birthday. The young lad was in a toy store at the time we were talking. All during this time I kept hearing a voice in my head saying "Tell her about me, tell her about me". So I began to speak to this woman about her relationship with God and how he could help her through the toughest time. She told me how she used to go to church but stopped. I told her to start going again and speak with her Pastor or some other people in the church. I then gave this woman $20 to buy her son a birthday gift. Currently employed as a Deputy Sheriff for the Rutland County Sheriffs Dept. Rutland Vt. My love for the lord started on Dec. 22 2003 a day that changed my life forever. I belong to the First Congregational Church of Wallingford, Vt. of which I am currently Vice Chair to the Council. I was the youth group leader for one year, actually reignited the youth group from a long absence in our church. It is now run by a woman and she is doing a fine job with it.
