We all need a place to go sometimes where we can have peace . Especially when our hearts are full . I'm blessed to work in the Texas Hill Country . I clear the cedar from inside an air conditioned cab of a bulldozer . God has truly spoiled me . I find amazing places , Gods gardens hiding in the most remote locations . Often , I'll wait till last to clear these areas , so I can visit them in secrecy in my lunch hour and speak with my Father . Whether I'm resting , reading , singing , or eating ; the Lord always makes his presence known . From wildlife , such as songbirds, hawks , whitetail deer , even armadillos that appear at the most appropriate moments of prayer and meditation ; to strong gusts of wind rustling through the pecans , cedars , and oaks . Often , these locations are so overgrown , that from the sky , or even 10 ft away , they are invisible . | About Me: | I'm only 30 , so don't expect a lifechanging testimony . I had a great childhood . I was raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, but like a lot of teens , I went crazy for awhile . I 'm back now though , and I'm married with children . I'm hoping God will have mercy on me and teach me what to do and where to go in my life . In the mean time , I'm just trying to be a good husband and Daddy . | Favorite Books: | The bible , national geographic , readers digest . The chronicles of Narnia . I find I want to read and learn more as an adult , in fact I crave wisdom , knowledge , and understanding . |
