"Singing and song writing, it's something that I get peace from and feel I'm meant to do. This is something that has been a dream of mine ever since I can remember and so for me, giving up on music is NEVER AN OPTION." Noah
Since he began singing publicly at age five in church Noah has never stopped, and was honored to sing for the Winter Jam Tour before his thirteenth birthday. The following year he was privileged to tour with the Continental Singers, performing 36 concerts in 32 days across the west coast. He has since shared the stage with such accomplished artists such as Tait, Rachael Lampa, Nicole C. Mullin, and others. But things have not come easy for this unique sixteen year old. Noah wasn't your typical kid in school and struggled with acceptance from his classmates. Never really fitting in with other children growing up in rural Oklahoma, it seemed he was constantly getting teased for his interest in the arts and his disinterest in sports, made it hard on his self-esteem. Change has come over the years for Noah, he has grown up and is learning to heal from past hurt and use that pain to help others. Promoting his Nashville recorded debut pop/rock "Self-titled" album, produced by Dennis Dearing keeps him busy. Noah enjoyed song writing along side multiple Dove award nominee Leonard Alstrom and Kevin Srokes (Avalon), and had the opportunity of working with some of Nashville's best musicians. Noah enjoys playing the keyboard and guitar. Homeschooling allows him to minister year round, along with his parents, Brian and Jodi Barl!%@@, and his younger brother and sister, Nathan and Nicole, who live in Joplin, Missouri.
A Prayer to Humbly Serve This Maundy Thursday - Your Daily Prayer - March 28
Would you let Jesus wash your feet? Isn't it hard to imagine lifting our dirty toes to the King of Kings? None of us are worthy of his care and attention; yet in Christ's perfect love, he gives us nothing less. Does your human heart struggle like mine to serve others humbly as Jesus did?
