One correction, once we receive the Jesus into our lives and are justified we enter into our former rain and continue to receive daily in santification, however one day the holy spirit will be poured out and we will receive the latter rain in the loud cry. This will be the experience of the 5 wise virgins.

You are on the right track. The lamp represents the holy spirit though but it is the holy spirit that reveals the knowledge of the truth through God's law which is found in the bible which are the two candlestick, both the old and the new testament. Once we are converted we receive oil or knowledge of God, we call this justification. This is our latter rain experience. All the virgins received this at one time or the other, however what most virgins or christians lack is santification which is the daily renewal of the mind and the daily revelation of the scriptures which transform us and allows us to reflect more and more the character of Christ. Those who wait until the bridegroom comes, in this case, this is when the tribulation comes will have enough knowledge of God to withstand the devices of Satan and those who fell asleep and stayed at justifcation would have not have enough available. They will seek to acquire this knowledge but there will not be any more truth to peach because it was not appreciated when it was in abundance to receive. We have to continue to search the scriptures and ask the holy spirit to reveal to us God's plan and knowledge of Salvation to withstand the devices of Satan in the tribulaiton.
