Born in Los Angeles, California, the 2nd of 4 siblings, Myracle knew very early she had the gift of singing. At 7 years old she joined the church choir and at age 15 won her first talent show.
During her high school years, her voice rapidly developed and success came early. Winning a talent show sponsored by Producer/Artist Kashif, Myracle accepted a scholarship to Musicians Institute. She later toured with Earth Wind and Fire as a backup vocalist under the tutelage of Philip Bailey who helped her begin to find her voice as an artist.
But as early success looked promising for Myracle on the outside, inwardly she struggled with issues she encountered as a child. Sexual abuse, abandonment and insecurity issues brought about additional problems with substance abuse and ultimately depression.
Music suddenly took a backseat to coping and looking for answers. Myracle longed for a “normal” life and support from a traditional family structure. “My Grandparents practically raised me. My mom managed the best she could, but it was tough having me as a teenager, my father drifted in and out of my life and was not a role model”. It would take some years down the road before things turned around. Myracle still needed answers.
Myracle never lost hope and always kept smiling through it all. The winter of 2010 marked a real turning point in Myracle’s life when she landed a position with The Job Corps as a residential advisor. “I saw myself in many of those young women’s life and I knew I had found purpose.
I would take my experiences and share with the girls so they would not have to go through what I endured.” Often times, during conflicts Myracle would sing to them and peace would fill the room settling everyone down.
“I was blessed to share my Love and gift with those young ladies and I felt God put me there so we could learn from each other”.
So began her serious journey to finding purpose and using her gift of song to uplift others.

A Prayer to Humbly Serve This Maundy Thursday - Your Daily Prayer - March 28
Would you let Jesus wash your feet? Isn't it hard to imagine lifting our dirty toes to the King of Kings? None of us are worthy of his care and attention; yet in Christ's perfect love, he gives us nothing less. Does your human heart struggle like mine to serve others humbly as Jesus did?
