Until wednesday the 23rd of September 2009 I used to work at Cypress Gardens here in Winter Haven. The park closed down so now I am unemployed. So I'm in with the millions that have no jobs and are looking for one. The difference: I wait on God. Of course I look for jobs anyway, but as of yet I haven't been offered one.
I'm 25 years old, I live in Florida at the moment. I was born in Brookyn NY and at the age of 11 I move to Puerto Rico. So for me, both are my hometowns. I love both places, their each different and unique and I've had experiences in each one. I was too young to remember NY so what I do remember was great. Had great friends, went to a wonderful church, and as far as I'm concerned lived in a great neighborhood and went to a great school. Then again at that time I didn't know it wasn't so great.
Puerto Rico is awesome, fabulous, the best place to be when you're a teen. Didn't have curfews and got to hang out with friends. BUT always having good clean fun. I will always remember my friends and the good times.
In 2005 I moved to Winter Haven, FL. It's like a blimp in the map, or a dot unseen. Lol it's a small place, which isn't bad but you get bored really quickly. I go to a God-filled Holy Ghost church www.whwc.org called Winter Haven Worship Center. It was exactly what I needed in my life. A church that flows in the Spirit and teaches to me to study and how to study God's word. It's home.
