Sept 16th, 2000, was hit broadside in my car , in a comma a month,went from, wheelchair to walker on wheels,to a 4 prong cane, in rehabilitation a year, learning to walk again, & talk correctly, I learned to love writing, Journel form was so helpful, turned a few Expressions from my book, I have a cover The Lion & the lamb, I drew,found a local music instructor from one of the high schools, he helped me bring to life 5 I have in song form.I Love hearing our contemporary praise band at Salem Baptist church,Apex, N.C. I can not sing, so happy I found a very talented artist.I rececntly was inspired by Joel Osteens christian tv show,tues eve,oct 21,08.I enjoy his positive ways of spreading God's Love,& Grace.I will re-think of the definition of handicapped..., I will now look at 8 years ago, was injured,things are different,its been a journey,In may 08, I passed the drivers & written test, I'm driving now after 7-1/2 years afraid to, I'll think of handicap, when thinking of my golf game, hopefully I'll get to play more! Did enjoy family times & being on the golf team along time ago, when in high school.John Tesh's positive thinking has been inspiring, my dad would listen to Dwayne Dyer,similiar positive ideas, John has a praise band which makes him inspiring as well,to listen & web site.You can view, my whole book at www.poetry.com under Michele L.
