We have a home group that meets in our home once a week. Lately we have had new people come and join our group. When we get together one of the things we like to do is soak. We all sit and listen to music and rest in the Lord's presence. One night after I had looked at one of our new friends that had just started coming and a picture flashed before my eyes of a wheelbarrow being tipped overtop of this mans head and all kinds of letters were being dumped into this man. I thought it was kind of strange so I said nothing and kept it to myself. The following week the man came again so this time I asked God ok what did it mean what you showed me, then I saw a large field that was full of beautiful rich healthy soil. Immediately I remembered the story about the farmer and the seeds that fell on good ground, I believe it is found in Luke. I went and got my bible, and then I asked him if he would like to hear what I believed God was saying to him. He agreed and I told him everything. I read the story of the farmer and I told him that I believed that he was the one who had the good soil. He thanked me then that was the end of it. I wondered if it was of God or if it was just me and my imagination, I wrestled with it for the next couple days, but eventually I came to the conclusion that God would not be upset anyway because my heart was right and I blessed the man. The next day I recieved a phone call informing me that the man I shared the word with went home that night with one of our leaders and stayed the night, they talked to the early hours of the morning and he gave his heart to the Lord, it was something that really hit home with him, and to this day he has been sober, I still can't connect how the vision and the word I gave lead him to salvation but God does, and he knows exactly what we need to hear and when. I am sharing this to encourage you. If you have been holding back in this area, wondering if it is of God or just yourself ... God won't mind if you try, Just always remember God is Love.

My daughter came to me and asked if she could go to a haunted house for her class trip. My first thought was absolutely no but I said let me pray about it. She came back to me the next day and asked if she could go. I read her verses from the bible that explained how much God detests the things of Halloween and how she is not a part of such things and she looked at me and said yes I know but can I go? I didn't know what to do so I had her promise that she would pray before she went in and ask for Gods presence to cover her. She did just that. She went through the haunted house and did not like it one bit but at the same time a girl in her class came running up to her and said that it was was worst thing she had ever seen and that she hated it and didn't want to go out for halloween. Well said my daughter do you want to come to the church with us we are having a harvest party instead. To make a long story short that little girl and another one of her friends gave their lives to Jesus that weekend, and are now going to a biblestudy which is also being led by a 10 year old girl. Oh and I forgot to mention that there was a salvation message that was given that Sunday morning that we brought them to church, but the great thing was that the message was given by a five year old in my Sunday school class.
Can you imagine if I had said no she couldn't go?
Last Wednesday night instead of having homegroup we all decided to go on a road trip to Ottawa. There was a revival meeting there. The man who was speaking had just come back from the Lakeland Revival. A friend of ours went up for prayer and by the time he left that night his left ear was healed - all the deafness was gone!
Praise God!
I was part of the ministry team at our healing clinic last week. A woman that had cancer throughout her body came for healing. I had my hand on a small tumor on her shoulder, My friend started to sing a simple little song about how good God is and the tumor completely disappeared underneath my hand! WOW!!!!!! GOD is so GOOD!!!
A friend and I were asked to pray for a man who was diabetic and was going in to get his leg amputated. We all prayed for him during homegroup and then a couple weeks later we received a report that the man had signed the papers and his leg was marked to have cut off, and by the time he was wheeled into the operatingroom things changed drastically and they only had to cut off three toes.
Yay! God is good.
