Temper me with Refinder's Fire so my point shall never become dull. Burn out any dross or inequity that would cause any impurity within it's tip. Yet leave my heart soft and pliable, Lord. So that I may not become so hardened and brittle that I would easily break. Able to feel for others no matter what their situation. Having compassion and understanding for all walks of life. Replace pride with humility so that I may readily admit mistakes I've made. And give me the courage to let others know that I, too have faults. Lord, send your Holy Spirit to dwell within me. So that He may guide and direct me in all things that I do. Help my words to others be sweet to their ears and understanding to their minds. Let all my words and deeds be for edification and building up. Rather than for disruption and tearing down. And finally, let me walk away with rightousness if things will not be righted. Rather than to compromise and stifle these gifts you have given me. -Doc
