I have been a born again christian now going on 3 years. I must say i am still profoundly amazed at how the Lord continues to work changes in me. It took a horrible tragedy for me to come to Him and this did not happen over night.I work in a nursing home as a nurse aide and whenever anyone gives me a compliment I do my best to remember who gives me the strength and the power to be great at what I do. So I usually say well I cannot take the credit that goes to the Lord. I was not brought up in a nonchristian enviorment my mom always told me there is a God and told me what she knew about Jesus as well. Knowing God truly loves me and wants me as his child has given me a whole knew perspective on life.It has worked wonders for me especially in my workplace. Through Gods love for and teaching I have learned that I can remain peaceful on the inside even though my world might be crazy and stressed on the outside.
