I Saw Jesus Today<br />

<br />

He was wearing blue jeans and an old shirt.<br />

He was up at the church building;<br />

He was alone and working hard.<br />

For just a minute he looked a little<br />

Like one of our church members.<br />

But it was Jesus, I could tell by his smile.<br />

<br />

I saw Jesus last Sunday.<br />

He was teaching a Sunday School class.<br />

He didn't talk real loud or use long<br />

words, But you could tell he believed what he said.<br />

For just a minute, he looked like my<br />

Sunday School teacher.<br />

But it was Jesus, I could tell by his<br />

Loving voice.<br />

<br />

I saw Jesus yesterday.<br />

He was at the hospital visiting my friend who was sick.<br />

They prayed together quietly.<br />

For just a minute he looked like a pastor.<br />

But it was Jesus, I could tell by the tears in his eyes.<br />

<br />

I saw Jesus this morning.<br />

He was in my kitchen making my breakfast.<br />

He then fixed me a special lunch for me to take.<br />

For just a minute he looked like my Mom.<br />

But it was Jesus, I could feel the love from his heart.<br />

<br />

I saw Jesus today.<br />

He was praying on his knees all alone.<br />

He then began to cry for those he prayed for.<br />

For just a minute he looked like a lady from our church.<br />

But it was Jesus; I could see the compassion poured out in his prayer.<br />

<br />

I saw Jesus the other day.<br />

He was at the grocery store talking to friends.<br />

He then put his arms around them to comfort them.<br />

For just a minute he looked like a young mother I know.<br />

But it was Jesus; I could see the concern for others who hurt.<br />

<br />

I see Jesus everywhere,<br />

Taking food to the sick, welcoming others to his home,<br />

Being friendly to a newcomer, And for just a minute<br />

I think he's someone I know.<br />

But it's always Jesus, I can tell by the way he serves.<br />

<br />

May someone see Jesus in you today.<br />

Remember to encourage those you see<br />

Living for Jesus!<br />

<br />

But mostly, let those without Jesus<br />

See Him living in you,<br />

For He desires to serve them, no matter what<br />

their condition, No matter what they wear, own, or look like.<br />

But I do believe that deep down in ALL our hearts even in secret...we come across this choice; so Be carefull of wot u choose... U might juz end up cutting ur self short... Interesting quote from the movie "why did I get married?" In most cases, especially in relationships, you will only get 80% of what you NEED and you will hardly get the other 20% that you WANT in your relationship. There is always another person (man or women) that you will meet and that will offer you the other 20% which is lacking in your relationship that you WANT And believe me, 20% looks really good when you are not getting it at all in your current relationship. But the problem is that you will always be tempted to leave that go80% that you know you have, thinking that you will get something better with the other 20% that you WANT But as reality has proven, in most cases, you will always end up with having the 20% that you WANT and loosing the 80% that you really NEED and that you already had. Be careful in deciding between what you WANT and NEED in your life. Isaiah 50: 11. A happy heart



A person's heart is a major concern of the Lord. God's Word tells us that he doesn't look at the things people look at. We look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart; that is, our "thoughts and intentions" (1 Samuel 16:7). Today's verse tells us that a happy, or cheerful, heart make life "a continual feast." How do we obtainâand maintainâthis happy heart?
There are many clues throughout the book of Proverbs. We should not let our hearts be anxious or proud because anxiety and pride are deterrents to a cheerful heart (Proverbs 12:25; 16:5). Instead, God calls us to have pure hearts and to keep them on the right path (Proverbs 22:11; 23:19). These are positive steps to achieving a happy heart because when we are being obedient to God's Word and experiencing his smile of approval, our hearts will be lighter, even in difficult times.
The Bibles gives us many other instructions about how to have "healthy" hearts, but a good place to start is to embrace the truth of Proverbs 15:15 and ask God to show us how to develop hearts that are happy, no matter what challenges we are facing.

FATHER, help me to have a happy heart. Remove the anxiety that sometimes weighs my heart down. Keep my heart from growing proud. Instead, give me a pure heartâa heart that is pleasing to you. Help me to hide your Word in my heart so that I can walk in your ways and enjoy life that is a continual feast.
TODAY I VOW TO WALK WITH A HAPPY HEART AND NO MATTER WHAT IS THROWN AT ME TO KEEP A POSITIVE CONSTITUTION AND THANK GOD FOR HIS MERCY AND LOVE..THREW JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.

Actually, what I find is that praise and worship are vitally important to my relationship to Him. Worship enables me to lift my thoughts from myself to my Savior, Friend and Lord, and into a whole new realm. It shifts my focus from my circumstances to His plans.

When we meditate on His goodness, His amazing love, His sacrificial death for us, and His great power in our lives our natural response is to praise and worship Him. Thankfulness spontaneously wells up within us.

David was a great worshiper who became Israel's most outstanding king. The account of his life is found in Old Testament books of First and Second Samuel. From his earliest years we see his heart for worship. As a young shepherd boy, watching his father's flock on the hills surrounding Bethlehem, David expressed his love and gratitude to the Lord. He sang about the beauty of God's creation. He prayed to God when he was in danger. And when the Lord answered and protected him, David expressed thanksgiving and praise through songs and poetry.

The Psalms, many of which were written by David, give us the rich legacy of his worship and deep love for God.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want [lack anything] (Psalm 23:1)
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? (27:1)
Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness (29:2)
Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised (48:1)
Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! (103:1)
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever (107:1)
Here is an approach to worship, based on my experience, which you may find helpful. Early in the morning and before going to sleep at night express your love to the Lord. "Father, I greet you this morning, and thank You for this new day." "Lord, it's been quite a day, but I thank You for Your faithfulness."

As you go about your daily activities be conscious to thank Him, praising Him for Who He is and telling Him you love Him. (Of course, some days you feel more like doing this than others.) Realize that you are on a journey. The more you praise Him throughout the day, the more you will sense His joy and the more you will see things from His perspective. Your daily life will take on a whole new meaning.
