About me... I am a work in progress:) I was born and raised in Arizona. Currently live in Iraq, and stationed in Florida when I am not at one of the other locations! I have the best job in the military... I play with a dog all day and the Lord allows me to get paid for this!! However... although I love my job I believe I have a higher calling. I have a passionate heart for God and youth at risk. I am unsure as to where to go from here... I mean... if you have any guidance... God sent you to me... so write! But I have had my times... but one thing is for certain... at the end of the day... my heart rests with my Savior and I am so blessed that He saves me from myself daily. This life is no picnic and I have experienced a very dark area in my life... one without God. Ya heard the song slow fade... it happened. And God shared a powerful lesson with me. He gave me just enough space and distance to think I was without Him, to make my decisions, to walk where I want to walk, how I want to walk. Then I realized that I was the same 3 year old that hopped out of my dads truck a block from the house, tightened little body, clenched fists, eyes locked straight forward as my dad was telling me to get in the truck. Finally the yelling stopped. He hid the car out of my sight. I thought he left me. He never did! Just enough to teach me a lesson... I have a stubborn will... Lord teach me to use it for you! But here I am in the desert... a dry place will really reveal how dehydrated you actually are. You can't have a drink of water everytime you're thirsty and be convinced you are good til you get the craving again... drink every 10 minutes! Who knows when you will get your next drink... I hope you have enough water to last you to the very last minute.
