I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior when I was only 7 years old. My Sunday School teacher didn't use the regular Sunday School lessons, but taught directly from the Bible. She was also the leader of children's chuch. Every Sunday she talked to us about asking Jesus to come into our hearts. One Sunday morning, I did just that. When we entered the sanctuary to hear the pastor preach, I silently asked, "Where are you Jesus?" A loving, but booming voice answered, "Here I am." I looked around, thinking others had heard, but it didn't appear that they had. I knew, then, that Jesus was my personal Savior, and that He and I could have private talks.
