hi, mr. webster thanks for your reply. you must put god in histrorical prospective. I am an agnostic, meaning that our existence might have come from a natural creation or a supernatural creation. If it was a supernatural creation it's more of a deistic creation and has no personal god attach to it.I have taught my children and many ex-christians ehtics and morals through my Reverence For Life ideology and panthistic theology. My chidren are outstanding indiviuals because of it.It is a realistic approch to life. It lets you feel the essence of life and your connection to it without the need for abahamic monotheism. When you see the world through the eyes of reverence for life it changes you and all ethics and morals grow from it. The basis of your faith is scared straight and it does not work , it has never worked because it is not a realistic theology as matter effect it is one of the worst theologies I have come across in my studies in the last 35 years. Read Albert Schweitzer's books on Reverence for life ( he was a panthistic Christian),I won't hold that last part againt him. Reverence for life is my only truth,Nature my only devinity. Read it, it might change the direction of your life. I'm working on opening a center for its teaching.

I apprediate your comments and jsut the fact you took time to watch the video. Chrikstianity will never become "mythology" as the Word of the Living God will never become void or useless. It gives us everything we need in life - for past, present, and future generations. I found your comment on "scaring straight mentality" very interesting also. I wouldntver, nor do I believe in, any form of scare techniques. I only teach that which is in the Bbile as true and very current. IF you dont see the Bible as Gods Word, then jsut look at it from a historical viewpoint and you will see ethics the way they were and the way they are (and have been prophesied from times of old). YOu will also ses a very young earth if you just follow the geneologies that have ben recorded throughout history. I hope this has been helpful to you and I urge you to lood at all of the evidence to see that Jesus Christ has has His hand in history from the beginning and He wants to show you the truth of eternity as He does everyone on earth. |
