I am a Catholic Lay Evangelists. This means that I live and celebrate my Catholic faith by going out as laity to the ends of the earth, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, boldly proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations!
I currently live among the poorest the poor in Mexico. It is such a blessed life. It is so freeing to give ones self over to the will of GOD. It's not always easy, but then again JESUS never promised that it would be. As one of my missionary sisters once said about missions, "It's not always glamorous but it's always glorious". JESUS showed us that with the Cross. I am not a saint, but I do strive for sainthood. I am an "Ordinary Radical" (as Shane Claiborne so perfectly puts its). There is nothing that makes me more qualified or capable to preach the GOSPEL than anyone reading this. The only thing that qualifies me is the "calling" (which we all have). The only thing that empowers me to preach is the Holy Spirit. I could talk for hours about the "Great Commission" and what that means in our lives. I believed what Pope John Paul 2 declared (almost 20 years ago) to be true. "No believer in Christ, no institution of the Church can avoid this supreme duty: to proclaim Christ to all peoples". The mission is "urgent", we must repond "whole-heartedly". Please if you are reading this and fill convicted to do so, join me in the field, where life and death, sin and grace, Heaven and Hell converge. Please Pray. Prayer is the greatest need. He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out laborers into his harvest field. --Luke 10:2
I want to pray for you. Seriously, I would like to pray for you. I would love to use this website for the glory of GOD.
