I am a guitarist for my church's worship team. Off and on,I have even been it's leader.I have written an instructional guitar book and produced a DVD (both due out early 2008) that I hope will help guitarists already in music ministry and those wanting to join a music ministry improve there skill level to be more effective. This is an intermediate course that discusses moveable chord forms and scales; understanding keys and chord relationships; and the art of transposing ,and using a capo. My desire is to make an honest living as a Christian author who encourages guitarists in particular and all musicians and singers in general to participate in music ministry and to be all that they can be.
Improving Your Skills in Music Ministry
This is a guitar course for people who are in, or who wish to join a music ministry. Playing alone in your family room is not at all the same as playing with other musicians and singers in a team environment. I have written a book and produced a DVD that addresses the skill sets needed to be able to function well in this scenario.
