I'm happy. The Lord has blessed me! He waited on me!! It took me awhile, but I found Him. Every day is a blessing. I love life. I praise God from whom all of my blessings have flowed. I am an excited Christian.
I am a supernatural warrior of God. I have limited ability to affect my physical world right now, but I pray fervently.
I'm 47 and have had a life searching for "something". Raised a Catholic in a home full of hypocracy, I didn't know Jesus. I lived in Jacksonvile, Florida for 19 years and never felt at home there.
The Lord systematically shut every door there, and I found myself packing up a 17 foot U-Haul and left everything behind that wouldn't fit . . . I moved to a tiny town in southern Ohio where I didn't know anyone. I found Jesus on the way here. . . having visited Morning Star in Charlotte, North Carolina at the pleas of my saved brother, Steven, and found JESUS IN A BIG WAY that night in Charlotte.
My life makes so much sense now, and I've not known this joy ever before. It just all makes sense now.
I have female friends, which i've never had before, I quit the sex/drugs/rock n' roll thing, quit cursing, grew my fingernails for the first time in my life, and feel conmpletely at home now, when in church.
My children have fresh air to breathe now, my son has learned to shoot a gun, we have enjoyed many weekends with family in Indiana by the bon-fires (which my children had not known before), and my children know what it means to have a snow day off of school. The simpler life is certainly agreeing with me, and I am sooooo excited to see what God has in store for my future.
My girl is 15 and my boy is 13. We are very happy and live a harmonious life. Steven was baptized with me shortly after we arrived in Ohio, late summer '08, and my girl is coming around.
I welcome all friends and contact with other Christians.
Although a "new" Christian, I am fed by reading the word daily and am well past the "milk" stage of Christianity and well into the "solid food" stage.
It all makes sense!
He Waited on me.
He knows my name!
Have a GREAT day :)
