Grace for India Ministry is established with the purpose of reaching out to the downtrodden people of India with the love of Christ. God placed this vision in our hearts a few years ago as we traveled to different parts of India. It is very shocking to see that there are thousands of people sleeping in the streets of India without any shelter. Among the millions are children who are below the age of 10. Most of the people who live in the streets and the slums are living under rough conditions and are malnourished. Everyday hundreds of children starve to death in India. Some parents are forced to drop their own children in the streets because they are unable to take care of them due to financial struggles at home. Many of these children will never reunite with their parents for the remainder of their life. Gradually, these children will end up in a prison as criminals or be forced to become prostitutes for their daily bread. Our hope is that this orphanage will provide a place for these children to be treated well and receive resources that will present them a promising future.
