Don Paprocky: I was a teenager and Myrna was 11 when we accepted Jesus as our Savior. In our 20s we became more committed to knowing God, studying the Bible, loving God, and pleasing Him. We married in 1981 and continued to be very active in the church, giving our time, money and abilities to serve people inside the church and beyond the four walls of the church in various capacities such as feeding the homeless, preaching on the streets, Bible teaching, deaf ministry, television ministry, dance ministry, counseling, and prayer and altar ministry. As the years passed, we came to know in our hearts that God was calling us into full-time ministry, but our plan was that after retirement and after saving a huge amount of money, we would then go into full-time ministry. Gods plan for our lives was better. In the summer of 2004 we met with a friend who had been serving orphans in South Africa; she was back for a visit to the states. After hearing of the plight of the orphans and destitute in South Africa, we couldnt stop crying and felt such a burden for these people. We knew that God was calling us into full-time ministry at that time, not in the future. We accepted Gods calling and have not looked back. After months of preparation and either giving away, losing, or selling everything we owned, we left for South Africa in March of 2005.
