I was diagnosed with Stage 3B Breast Cancer in June 2008. I was also Triple Negative...which is a more aggressive form of BC and they don't know why/how I I came about to have it. No family history of any form of cancer previous to me. My last Chemo treatment was in December of 2008, followed by a bilateral mas and 33 rounds of radiation. When they biopsied the cancer site they could not find any dead cancer cells. They said it was like I never had cancer. I believe in the power of prayer. I didn't survive this because I am any more special than the person who didn't, I believe God has His own purpose and journey for each one of us. One of the things I do at work is to help students who have lost loved ones. I am constantly asked why God seems to take all the "good" ones. My belief is that He takes the ones that are saved and leaves some of us believers here so we can help lead others to Him that aren't there as yet, so my intention is to make myself "marketable" so He will leave me here and I can see my little ones grow up and God willing be able to hold my great grand-babies (as my son would say and has claimed). :) I love the Lord, my family and friends.
