First of all I love Jesus with all my heart. Without Him, I have no purpose. Praise and Worship is my life...and always has been. I am 21 years old and have been married to the love of my life, Jonathan for 2 years now. I guess I'm what most people would call a "liberal" Christian, although I don't quite like the term "liberal." You see, I believe that if we are closed minded and uninviting then we can't really reach people for Christ. You see, all my life I grew up in a Christian environment. But people, well, "Christians" were always wondering why they couldn't reach people, or lead anyone to the Lord. Thats when I realized that in order to reach someone, you have to be open to them. If you are constantly criticizing everything they do, then why would they want to be around you? Why would they listen to you? Why would they want to serve the same God you serve? God loves people and hates the sin. Thats the way we have to be. Love the people, invite them in. God deals with the sin once they become a Christian...ITS NOT OUR JOB. Thats where most "Christians" scare the new ones off. We are there to help guide and if they have questions, then yes, answer them, but not to deal with or try to get rid of their sins. Every Christian deals with something in their lives on a daily basis...our own sin. If we can't take care of our own sin, then who are we to take care of others sins? We need to accept people how they are and let God do the rest. I guess that is basically my belief. I didn't mean to go on a rampage here...but that is what my heart feels.
