I'm married to a wonderful man Jose (Joe) Ontiveros. I've been blessed
With 2 daughters who are now 18 and 20 years old. And one dog Molly.
I came to know the Lord at the age of 9 . We live in Auburn Illinois at the
Time. My parents and I attended a small Baptist church . Its there I met
Rachel, she was my Sunday school teacher. As it turned out I ended up
Being the only person in her class. All the kids where sectioned off by grades
Levels. I was in the 4th grade I think. Through her I learned more about Jesus.
At the time I really didnt care at all about heaven or hell, blessing etc..ÃÃæ I just
Wanted to be with Jesus. All I was thinking is that for the rest of my life here on
Earth I get to be with my best friend Jesus. My parent at the time also had made a
Decision to get baptized, which I didn't know about tell later. See at the same time
Everything in me was screaming to be baptized. Our pastor was so happy. You see
My step dad is Jewish and I was the youngest in our church at that time to be baptized
It was a big thing but the excitement didn't last. God must have revealed to our pastor
That my parent where just wanting fire insurance. They are still in the prayers.
Since then I've attended several churches. Served in children's ministries, youth groups
Singles ministries, bus ministry. But there were a lot of times I walked on the wild side
Of life. I am happy to have live through those years.
I'm now married for the second time. My first husband (whom I've forgiven)
Chose a different path and divorced us.
I'm physically disabled. I have Multiple Sclerosis,Rhuematoid arthritis, spinal problems,
Vision problems, and more stuff that I would bore you with the details. My body may
Be broken but God still loves cracked pots .
