2 Samuel 6:14 and Exodous 15:20 are just two right off the top of my head -- and this type of behavior from those who didn't even have the indwelling of The Holy Spirit inside of them 24/7 -- whose atonement came through sacrifices of animals and who had not the privilege of having a one on one relationship with The Great I AM -- who was not allowed to aproach the Throne Room of Grace Freely -- and this song is referring to those who have been changed by The Blood of The Lamb -- Who have New Life In Christ Jesus Who are filled and overflowing by The Grace of God with The Spirit of God -- really?? Yes Shake Jump Shout and Cry Out -- For He Has Risen and He is Alive and He indwells His People! Jesus said that if the people didn't shout His praises that the very rocks would cry out -- He didn't say the rocks would whisper a very subdued thanksgiving -- but they would cry out! May The Lord open your eyes and may He prick your heart and may you see and understand The Joy of The Lord -- and how that Joy is to be expressed.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this video to their song. One of my all time favorites. I CANNOT listen to this without jigging to it. I bet making that video was so fun! I seen them at Winter Jam and got to sing and dance with them with the huge audience. Great memory. I wanna do this with them in Heaven. Love you guys!

Here's the problem with people who don't like change or think that every song that glorifies the lord must have scripture, God or Jesus in the lyrics. Those of you who oppose don't have a real valid reason for doing so its just you hate it and you would rather see tradition to the death of your church congregation than to have something new come into your church. Rejoice in the Lord. These are Christian song artist who write and play music for the glory of Jesus Christ and God. I happen to be a fan of Mercy Me and their music. But you stiff old people need to get out of your habits of tradition or your church will never grow the Kingdom of God. Our music program suffers because of tradition. I'm personally sick of going to a church where the members look like they're in a funeral. Jesus LIVES We should have Mercy Me, Third Day, Casting Crowns, Jeremy Camp and all the others music in ever church in this country. I'm not a fan of Skillet but if they reach lost people with the style of music they play then Glory be to God for it.

Totally uplifing music, the talent and the love of the Lord is magnified in the music. This song will make the spirt move through you. Keep on singing praise to our Lord and helping others change their life for God and dance boldly to the throne of God.

Who needs scripture? He is happy, stating he is a changed man because of the Lord. It's a simply, happy song.

  • 2014-07-17T13:08:25

Actually, as far as "today's time", I think there was relatively little sexual movement.

Jackie Harling wow he may be uptight, but you are being excessively judgmental in calling him that. Nothing about your opinion came across as humble, and although you tell him he is entitled to his opinion, you only admitted it after raking him across the coals and telling him and everyone else what you thought of him and his question, and were crass about how you expressed it. At the very least, that poster is your brother, treat him with loving respect.

Who gives a crap?? Don't over think it people, lighten up and enjoy this awesome song!! Good grief! seriously? you want to delve into scripture to validate the accuracy of the song? I am a Christian, and although it is your business, when you post comments, you are somewhat interested in what other think of those comments, or you would keep them to yourselves. Please consider the possibility that you might be a little on the 'uptight' side...possibly a little on the 'judgemental' side. It's an awesome song, that doesn't not require investigation. It's a positive message and would not lead any young people down a negative path. That's really the only time anyone should care about lyrics...but that's just my humble opinion, you're certainly entitled to yours...
