Gary, I am hearing and my husband is deaf, I understand your pain. This 14 y/o girl lost her father when she was very young and she wrote it in memory of him. Here's the lyrics for you, so you can follow along: My heart is sad and filled with sor-row I know there's hope for a bet-ter tomorrow I tell myself I will be, al-right but the tears keep coming there's no, way to fight I pray to God to, keep me strong To give me the will to forgive, and move on It's a bran new dayyy everything will be oh-kay It's a brand new day

this is an international filming situation. I doubt if the ADA law is applicable. if it's a united nations thing there are no finances to enforce. sorry for your deaf situation. People in this elevator building are so sensitive to noise I wish they were deaf. They make fools of themselves when they object to noise.

Truly talented at 14yrs. She is an angel to share her songs and thoughts with others. How refreshing in this age! God Bless Tyler, she's already a Big Star to come so far...

Godvine did one time to use closed captioning of a mother who sang for her dying daughter. I was so happy to read the words of the song "So Strong" by Darlene Lourenco from Canada! I am also deaf. It is important for Deaf viewers to speak up about ADA!!!! Fight for the rights of the Deaf to have closed captioning on videos used by Godvine!!

Gary, I think you need to think through your comments before making them. I am fully aware of the requirements of the ADA as they relate to Deaf people. It is true that companies such as Netflix and other major services that stream online content are required to make those video products accessible through closed captioning. However, youtube and godvine are video SHARING services that allow anyone to upload their videos. These are (mostly) privately produced videos. The average individual does not have the means or the finances to close caption their personally produced videos. Individual PEOPLE are not required to follow the rules of the ADA. That law specifically addresses public companies and organizations that provide products and/or services to the public. If godvine was required to somehow close caption ALL of the private videos uploaded to their service, they would have to shut down.

Sorry, I cannot say I like this video...I am totally Deaf and unable to hear what the girl is singing. People need to obey the ADA law and allow for people, who are unable to hear, to enjoy these things.
