Thank you for sharing. What am amazingly anointed song you choose to sing at your most difficult time in your lives. God will honor you as you honor Him. We too choose this song to sing with over 1,000 others at our 20 year old son's funeral. And the song still ministers to me. HE IS MIGHTY TO SAVE - Amen. <3

My heart is breaking for you and the loss of your son. I lost my son at about the same age and I know the pain you are feeling. I think it is so awesome that you are still able to praise the Lord. Lean on Him for comfort, He will see you through this aweful time. You will be in my prayers. God bless you and Team Aiden.

My heart goes out to this family...amazing to see the faith and pulling together of this family as well...I wonder if my faith could bring me through this as gracefully as they are...I almost lost my daughter to this whooping cough disease years ago and I remember the doctors telling me there was no more they could do for her...it was up to God at that point. Thank you Jesus for saving my daughter and Lord please comfort this family through the pain and loss they are dealing with...R.I.P....little one.

Isaac, there is a Biblical passage for you. In 2 Samuel 12, we read the story of David and Bathsheba's first born. The child was near death, and David fasted and prayed for the baby's life. David's son died anyway, so David stopped his fast. People asked him why he was going about life normally, with his son newly dead, and David responded thusly: "But now that he is dead, why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me." (2 Samuel 12:23 New International Version ©1984) David was sure that he'd be reunited with his son one day. I am sorry that you didn't get to raise Grace Sophia. I have Micah Lee waiting for me.

I just heard yesterday that whooping cough has killed many babies this year!

  • 2012-07-20T13:48:44

I can relate to this our baby was perfectly healthy but the umbilical cord was tied in knot the last week of pregnancy we had the nursery ready for the baby but he was still born he would be 26 now if he had lived, and to expect to bring a baby home but instead to have a funeral it was devastating but knowing the child was in heaven was what got us through!

I am so sorry for your loss, I know it's very hard now but know that Aiden is with God. I lost my son Gabriel when I was 38 weeks pregnant back in 2007, That's was one of the hardest thing I have every had to endure. God has given me the strength to get through this, and he can help you too. And know God will bless you again! Be Blessed!
