I disagree that the verse is only talking about sin not physical sickness, Sin as well is sickness and disease, when Israel sinned against God, he warned them that he will send sickness to them, He also told them that if they repent he (God) will heal their land. Which he did, so what are we saying, sin, sickness or disease is the same.I have used this very verse to help people who are physically sick and they got their healing instantly. Again when Pharaoh did not allow Israel to go and serve God, he sinned against God what happened, God sent all manner of sickness to the land of Egypt.Sin and physical disease go hand in hand.

I have recieved divine healing, and beleive that Jesus did a complete work, he paid the price for my sin and all the consequences of it. The corruption of our flesh, disease, sickness of everykind is under the Blood of Christ.

I can hardly wait until he saves us from the presence of sin.

Guys, can you pls explain to me the meaning of isaiah 53:5 "by his stripes we are healed".

Isaiah 53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." Healed from our sins but we often use it in the content of being healed from our physical elements.
