It's awful, simply horrifying, that a mother should lose a daughter so early in life, yet there are times, when the unbelievers in my life ask those 'questions'........"Why would a loving God, allow 'this', or 'that'"? This illustrates how God uses what to the human eye, looks unforgivable, looks like a shattered mothers' heart would NEVER be able to get "put back together again"? That man, serving 22 years in prison, could have became bitter, depressed, I'm sure he did at some point? The bible is clear about forgiveness. It heals. Both the mom, and the man who is the reason her daughter was taken so young, were healed in some way/ways, because the mom listened to Gods' ways. When she forgave him, he was able to forgive himself and accept Gods' forgiveness! Had she simply said and thought, "let him rot in jail", this story may have had a much different ending for that man! LOVE, is very powerful, and because of Love, she was able to forgive him, what a precious woman. It is amazing how God uses the most heart wrenching of situations, stretching out His Providential loving Arms, to give Grace when the whole world yells "crucify"! What a story!

Matt speaks from his heart in such a mighty way. Years ago when my husband and I went to Pass Christian, MS after hurricane Katrina, we came back with VERY touching pictures. I put them into DVD and searched high and low for just the right songs to tell the story of what happened to Katrina victims....Matt's song, "You never let go" was one of the two we used (gave him all the credits at the end). His music IS a story in music form. God bless you matt!

Oh, how I long for Christians to understand BIBLICAL forgiveness. We ought always to have a forgiving heart, we ought always to be ready to forgive, but in Scripture, forgiveness is never extended until there is an expression of repentance. Ah, but what does the Bible know, right?

Wow......amazing what one good deed, one act of forgiviness can do. Forgiviness....

There needs to be a movie made about this story.

It is even a privldege to be able to see Jesus' love in action as these blessed people forgive the ultimate act of selfishness in drinking and driving. Not only is Jesus proud of His children, a life can be 'saved" from the torment of what this accident has cost them. Evil is not caring, LOVe is compassion, renewal, peace, and Victory. May God truely bless these families, and Father bless the families of the drivers, we ask YOUR good and Holy will be done in their lives. Jesus you came into our lives when we didn't deserve it, come into theirs, they need to know the Power of your Eternal love.

My name is James Heide.I had taken care of my father for almost two years.During this time I prepared meals for him, bathed him, took him to his doctors and even took on the roll of a nurse.I checked his blood levels, set up his I.V. machine, cleaned up his messes and waited on him hand and foot..My dad had colon cancer which he died from it two years later. After he died, it was like my family turned against me.It was like they were blaming me for his death. They turned my mother against me and told her that I did not love her or my father. They constantly criticized me to my mother that she no longer trusted me as her son.Since then they have tried to split my wife and I apart.Has told lies against me and even disowned me as a son of the Heides.I love my family and would do anything for them.Even take care of them.I have asked for forgiveness from them and even tried to make amends.I feel as if I have doner anything wrong but I still ask forgiveness.I want this because I have been having troubles with my colon and do not know what is going to happen. The Lord says that we are to forgive one another as He has forgave us.I have tried but do not know what else to do.Please pray for me and my family.I have asked the Lord to come into my life July 4, 1982 but have not lead a complete Christian life.I have asked forgiveness but feel unsured about this.I love the LORD and know he is the Savior.I just can not forgive me.Please again pray for me and my circumstances.Thankyou and all my friends in Christ.

I lost my mother back in July. To cancer. She was my best friend along with being my mother. We did everything together. When she became ill from the chemo twice it put her into the hospital. The second time it attacked her heart. I gave her the options to either do the chemo or not to. This was a very hard thing for me. But she was getting tired of going to the hospital and being sick. Her 4 daughters did like like the way our mother was when she did the chemo. She just sat in her chair and didn't even talk or laugh with us. It was like she was in a different world. Anyways there were 3 other sibblings who was mad at her for quiting the chemo. Everytime they came over all they did was yell at her even on mothers day the called her everything but a good mother. The one brother even went to choke me a couple of days before she passed. Said this was all my doings. Just because she quit the chemo. But they were not there to see how she was either. I forgave him for what he did to me. But you see she was all I had.

How painful to have a child go, before you go home to be with the Lord. This happened to one of my Church Family, and his Father was the one to discover this.
