God has to search deep in our hearts to know who He can trust with money. The love of money corrupts many people. I believe God trusted this man to help the homeless right there in his NEIGHBORHOOD. Love God and then love others. Good move homeless man. I pray you get many hours and restful sleep in your new tent.

Wow, God finds a way to get to everyone, doesn't he? I am thankful that this man is ready to be used by God right where he is at. Who knows how many souls he will reach with that money. Souls that no one else may have been able to reach. God must be so happy with him.

Most of the world look at homeless people in a negative way or as bums but definitely not this one and others like him..thank you Sir!

I've heard that and it does remind you of that. But his heart is in the right place. How many of us if we had gotten money would actually help others

His reference to "God has something in min for me reminds me of a religious joke I heard one time: A man is caught in his house during a flood.. The water gets deeper and deeper and he starts to pray to God for a miracle. Eventually he is forced to go up to the 2nd floor, when along comes a boat.. the boat owner says quick get in the boat but the home owner says "No, I'm waiting for God to save me.". The boat takes off. The water continues to rise and the man is forced to go up to his 3rd floor, when a 2nd boat comes by. The driver in the boat says "Quick get in!", but the guy again says, "No, I'm going to wait for God, He will save me". The boat takes off in search of more victims. The water continues to rise and the man is forced to go up on his roof when a 3rd boat comes by. The driver frantically yells out, "hurry, get in the boat". but still the man says ""nope, I'm waiting on God to save me.." so the 3rd boat heads off. The water continues to rise and the man ultimately drowns. He appears in front of God on his judgment day and God asks the man if he has anything to say before he passes judgment. The man looks up rather disappointed and says. "God, I lived a Christian life, I attended church, I was a faithful husband and a good father to my chidlren. But when the time came that I need you most, when I needed you to rescue me during the flood, you let me down." God replied "I'm really sorry my child that you didn't step into one of the boats I sent to save you..." Moral of the story: Sometimes we can be so blinded by waiting on God that we miss the very gifts that God gives us.

This is what Jesus meant when He said "love your neighbor as yourself".
