how does someone singing a song aout Jesus, but not actually saying his name, make him not glorifying him. God doesnt need to hear us say his name over and over to make it about him. And not to mention, this is one song that was played, he has obviously written more songs. and if you dont like the way it sounds secular, thing about it this way. christians can see what this song is about, maybe someone who isnt will discover him as i just did, and then look deeper into the lyrics and find he is singing about Jesus, and that can help lead people to Christ. I hear time and time again how people who dont believe dont want Jesus shoved down their throats, but this is something in between.

You are sooo right Joan. I thank God that we have been saved by our Lord.

sorry, I really didn't hear a man glorifying God in this song.. just sad :( make no mistake, the fact that Jesus' name or God was never mentioned in this song is not by chance... the industry tries to make "Christian" music sound more secular so they can sell more albums! the devil is attacking everywhere and he's slowly wearing us down..

It is awesome that this young man is heard in the mainstream media, but the song does nothing for me. Glitzy showy and sounded very secular.

It's wonderful to see a young person using his God-given talent to praise the Lord with singing and dancing. I pray that this young man resists the temptations of the world and continues living a spirit-filled life in Christ.

dear Lisa, what you wrote really did read like an attack on Korbi for just stating that the music wasnt her style, i'm sure you dont like every Genre of music yourself, as everyone in the world, we are all one in Christ but if we were all the same, what a boring looking body we would be! in love, xx

Lisa....I was not judging. As Bobby pointed out, I stated my opinion. I did not care for his music. A lot of other people WERE enjoying it and I respected that. My sister and I sat quietly until the next group came on. Opinion is one's personal feeling; there is no clear-cut "right" or "wrong". [For the record, I have been singing in church since I was a teen so I do know music.]

Just because some one does not care for someones music does not mean they don't know what Christian music is or what talent is. Judgmental I agree we should not be but if you don't care for something it does not mean you are judgmental. Read what you wrote aren't you doing to this person exactly what you are accusing them of.

I like more of a country gospel music myself. I think though that what ever type music it is, yes even that rap stuff, if it is from the heart and full of love for our Lord, our God He is loving it. If we are wiggling and giggling over praising Him, He is wiggling and giggling over us. I'll get up and sing a song to our Lord Jesus anytime and I know He loves it. I pray all the joys of our father for this young man.

Saw him with Third Day a few weekends ago and didn't care for him and his music. Would rather have heard more of Josh Wilson. Sorry.
