Galatians 1:10 Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Tim is an entertainer and we see how so many self righteous people here have judged him as if they themselves were God. God has a sense of humour, Jesus danced, so get over it and have a chuckle all in good fun but at the same time remembering that if we bring one lost soul to the Kingdom of Heaven the angels will rejoice and God is pleased! Get over yourselves! Some people here need to wake up and read their Bible. The Bible is truth and let us not judge others but give thanks to the Lord always.

Lighten up, people. Comedy is not a sin. There is no mockery of God is his stand up, only church related themes because we also deserve to have fun. We can't go to secular stand up comedian shows having to endure their foul language and obscene behaviour. Some people here are to quick to condemn, folks...

Oh please people. God has a sense of humor. The man is making fun of us not God.

What a total waste of time and energy - this guy is NOT funny - this is blasphemy and Our Sovereign, Almighty Holy God is NOT mocked. Hawkins will one day have to stand before God and answer for these crazy antics. I am not a prude and certainly not old or old fashioned but this is going much too far. Sad now many people found it entertaining.

So it might be outer court worship and not inner court worship, in a true sense possibly a non joyful noise.

It would be more worshipful if he sang a new song and perhaps a song in the spirit, we don't have to be far out to be in the spirit.

I didn't like it. I don't mind Tim poking fun at our often silly ways of prayer like the whole prayer over the junk food we eat but this one struck me as being overboard because to me worship of a Holy God is sacred and seeing him use the words in a careless manner for a laugh just doesn't sit right. Kinda like when I was little, you could mock and make fun of or change the lyrics to songs but never to a worship song, those words are intended to honor God and be a Holy offering to Him. That's my 2 cents on it.

I did not find this funny. I did not find this entertaining. In fact, I am really, really sorry I found it at all!

I think this is offensive. How does this honor the Lord? Musical instruments have their place (they were certainly used in the Temple, and see Psalm 150), but only in a way that brings glory to God. But I suspect that much of contemporary so-called Christian music is just an attempt to have the world affect the Church (and not vice versa, as it should be).

the church today is so influence by the world, this is not what the gospel is.
